Calendar for 2005-2006 Chorus meets every Thursday
afternoon from 3:15 - 3:55 p.m. and Every Tuesday
morning before school at 7:10 -7:40
a.m. .
Chorus Uniform is the same as past years. A navy blue V-necked sweater vest, a white
long sleeve button down the front, collared shirt with (Peter Pan rounded
shape collar for the girls) khaki slacks for boys, khaki pleated skirt for the
girls around knee length, dark socks and shoes for the boys, white
tights and dark closed in shoes for the girls. All hair needs to be out of the eyes, girls
may wish to tie it back with ribbons that are coordinating colors with the
uniform. All singers MUST have the complete,
proper uniform to perform with the chorus at the Festivals!
March 29, 10:00 a.m. District Festival at West Lake High
School Auditorium Students who do not concentrate at practice and learn the
music will not be able to perform for the Festivals. It is the singer’s responsibility to learn
the correct notes, words and rhythm during the practices or get a tape of the
music from the teacher and practice it at home. Failure to do so will prevent them from the
privilege of singing with the other children on the Festival stage. Only those who have worked hard deserve to
perform and not have the songs messed up by others who choose not to sing
them correctly. May 1st , 2nd , or 3rd .….State
